Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish and half-English woman was born on the 16th of April 1997 in Miami Florida. The mother of Dennis Alan Taylor, a ex-bank executive, and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist named Anya Taylor-Joy. His father was an Argentine with Scottish and English descendance. The mother of her is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children. Four come from her father's previous marriage. After having lived with her parents in Buenos Aires for six years The family moved to Victoria. Taylor Joy admitted that the transition from Buenos Aires to Victoria was a struggle and she was not able to learn English and was hoping to go home to Argentina. Hill House became her school of choice after Taylor-Joy was forced to change schools. In the following years, she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. She quit the high school aged 16 to focus on her acting career. Taylor-Joy was born to be an actress from a very young age. The realization of her dreams came when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modelling job.
