Lucy-Liu
Lucy Liu (born Lucy Liu) is an American actor, voice actress as well as a director producer and singer. A beautiful, smart and skilled actress, she's a great example to Asian actors who want to become big names in Hollywood. She gained fame after several popular roles in series. The most notable was her role in the Ally McBeal series, where she played Ling Woo the villainous character. The actress took her initial success into big screen roles in films including Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. She then delivered a superlative performance as Japanese crime lord O-Ren in QT's Kill Bill Volume 1. During this time she was the main character in a few flops in the field such as Rise: Blood Hunter. In animated films like Kung Fu Panda, Tinker Bell and many others, she voiced prominent characters. Mia Mason's part as a character in Cashmere Mafia, a small screen movie, did not produce positive results. Southland is a highly praised crime drama that established Liu as an actress of the future. Liu chooses her roles with care so as to avoid being stereotyped in an industry with a lot of competition. Although she is very proud of her ethnicity but she doesn't let it limit her imagination.
